Fluxo

Este trabalho se constitui de uma série de montagens fotográficas realizadas a partir de fotos em sequência temporal de diversos meios de transporte em seus percursos de deslocamento, tendo como referencial fixo, para o centro das fotos originais antes da montagem, algum elemento da paisagem (torres, igrejas, pessoas, árvores, etc). Em seguida, cada sequência foi montada tendo como "centro" não mais os elementos da paisagem, mas sim o próprio meio de transporte. Todos os momentos do deslocamento do meio de transporte são então "congelados" em um único instante.

This work is a series of photomontages made with pictures, shoot in sequence, of boats, buses, cars, on their way. An element of the landscape (towers, churches, people, trees, etc) was used as a steady reference for the center of the original photos (before the montage). Then, each sequence of photos was assembled, having as "center" no longer the element of the landscape, but the boat, bus, car, itself. All the moments of the continuous movement of the boat, bus, car, are thus "frozen" in one single moment.
