A intervenção urbana "Migração Monarca" foi desenvolvida especialmente para ser executada em junho, durante as tradicionais "Festas de Lisboa". Nesta época, que vai de finais de maio até início de julho, tendo seu auge no dia de Santo Antônio (13/6), padroeiro popular dos lisboetas, algumas áreas de Lisboa, especialmente no Alfama, se cobrem de ornamentações e barraquinhas de comidas típicas, tudo acompanhado de muita música e desfiles populares.

The urban intervention "Monarch Migration" was specially developed to be executed in June, during the traditional "Festas de Lisboa" (Lisbon festivities). During this time of the year, which runs from late May until early July, having its climax on the day of St. Anthony (13th of june), popular patron saint of Lisbon, some areas of the portuguese city, especially in the Alfama neighbourhood, are covered with ornaments and typical food stalls, all accompanied by a lot of music and popular parades.

The "Monarchs" are rubber stamp prints (acrylic paint) on small sheets of white tissue paper, approximate to the size of the colorful small flags used in Brazil during the month of june, during the celebrations of Sts. Antony, John and Peter. The prints were made ​​using rubber stamps produced by the artist himself, from an original drawing of his authorship of a soldier in camouflage uniform with butterfly wings out of his back.
