Voilá Trois Coeurs is a work conceived in the scope of the CASA B Artist-in-residence project, at the Museu Bispo do Rosário Arte Contemporânea (mBrac), held in April 2018, followed by the exhibition "Almofadinhas | Experiência B", curated by Diana Kolker and Ricardo Resende, where a symbolic dialogue was created between the production of the artist with that of Bispo do Rosário.
The title of the work is a reference/homage to the work "Voilá Mon Coeur", by Leonilson. Here we have three hearts.
About this triptych, we can wonder about three states of mind, or even three distinct personalities: one purer and crystalline (transparent), one of pain, suffering; or maybe, intense, vivid (red), and finally a third and last, of sublimation, transcendence (golden). We could also think of the traditional allegories of the 3 ages (phases) of the human being, usually represented by female figures: the girl, pure; the grown woman, fertile; the elderly, who in this case instead of dry, no longer bearing fruits, would become gold.
